Unique Victorian one-story home in Colorado

This type of house was designed to be built on a long narrow lot.  These were often built near transportation lines such as street cars or railroads. They had their most decorative elements, gables and porches facing the street.

Goal & Solution

The owner desired a color scheme more tied to when the house was built, more what it would have looked like in the 1890s.

A period darker tan body is topped with a yellow gable.  The two body colors re tied together by a darker brown trim and period red windows.
